1. Who is responsible
CurryTym Food Services Private Limited (CIN U74900PN2015PTC157283) decides why and how your personal data is used on this Site. In the language of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the data fiduciary. Contact: hello@currytym.com.
2. What we collect
What you send us. When you email us, message us on WhatsApp or apply to be listed as a maker, we receive your name, contact details, the content of your message and anything you attach, such as licences or label photographs.
Technical data. Like any website, our servers record your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. We use these records to keep the Site secure and working.
What we do not collect. currytym.com has no accounts and no forms that store your data on the Site. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and it loads its fonts from our own server, not from a third party. If we add analytics later, we will tell you here first.
3. Why we use your data
- To reply to your message and keep a record of the conversation.
- To assess a maker application and, if you are listed, to run our relationship with you.
- To keep the Site secure and to find and fix faults.
- To meet our legal duties, such as keeping records and answering the authorities.
We use your data for these purposes only. If we want to use it for something else, we will ask you first.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- service providers that help us run the Site and answer you, such as our web host, our email provider, WhatsApp (Meta) when you message us there, and a content delivery and security service such as Cloudflare;
- our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, under a duty of confidence;
- government bodies and courts, when the law requires it.
Some providers process data outside India. We choose providers that protect data properly and we share only what they need.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was given, and as long as the law requires us to keep records. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
6. Your rights
Under Indian law you may:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct or complete it, or to erase it when it is no longer needed;
- withdraw a consent you gave us, at any time;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or cannot act;
- make a complaint about how we handle your data.
To use any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer using the details on the Grievance policy page. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. We limit who can see messages and applications, and we keep our systems up to date. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Children
The Site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
9. NutriTym and other sites
When you shop on nutritym.com, we collect more, such as your delivery address and order details, and payments are handled by a payment provider. That website has its own privacy policy. Links from this Site to other websites are not covered by this policy.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top. For a material change, we will say so clearly on the Site.
